I haven't received a follow up mail which is weird.

I haven't either, but have raised a ticket with paypal as it looked like I was still being charged for shipping.

So I've just been sent a partial refund from hibike for the amount for the tyres, but not for the shipping...

I have not yet, but suspected that may happen after my order was modified to 0 items but still had shipping on it.

Anyway, someone is having a fun Monday at the office!

Two confirmation emails saying sod off, no refund. Mine also amended to charge only postage. Yay :/

Got a refund on the tyres, the tubes will still be shipped. Shipping to Germany was free, so that's cool

So what has everyone who has received a partial refund done? Straight to reporting them via PayPal? I've sent them an email to their paypal@hibike address asking them to give me a full refund if they can't give me the tyres and have given them invoice number etc.

I appreciate they're likely pretty busy, so don't want to be a dick, but have they got the same work experience kid who priced it wrong to deal with the refunds?

Just raised an issue with Paypal for 'goods not as described'. Expecting a full refund though when they get their shit together.

Having said that I've not had my refund yet. Hopefully the pound drops massively in value in the next few days and I make a huge profit, which I then use to buy EU-subsidised tyres

Got an email to say the tyres and postage will be refunded (as separate amounts though). We will also be receiving a 'special offer' to compensate us for the pricing mistake.

Huh, my email didn't say that... Feel bad for raising a dispute on paypal now.

I had raised it with HiBike directly and I also got the email re separate refunds (got item costs refunded through PP) and the hint of a special offer. They were saying they have to manually deal with 3000+ orders (!) on the Pirellis so it might take a few days.

3000 potential new customers for them... (who only want 4 EUR tyres)
