• Olmo steel racing bike 54cm – £220

I think this bike is around late 80s to early 90s, please correct me if I am wrong.
It is original paint with signature on it, 7 speed, Campagnolo aero seatpost and 90% are Campagnolo groupset, only the rear derailleur and the brake lever are Shimano, MAVIC OPEN4 CD and Campagnolo hub wheel. The bike works fine, need some adjustment, the gear shifter need a bit of work. I still have the original saddle, I can put it back on. Collect only, based in London EC1.

    Fuji Feather 52cm – £60

The frame is bend. But the fork and other parts are all fine and in good condition. For people who want the parts for restore project. Collect only, based in London EC1.

  • Dibs on Olmo

  • Is that a crack on the DS rear drop out of the Olmo?

  • Good spotting I see that now too :s

  • dibs if sell the rear wheel seperately? or take both. pm'd

  • That inner chainring looks lethal.

  • dibs Fuji. PM

  • I’m already grabbing them both :)

  • Fuji available or not? Pleassse

  • Still waiting on a refund from this guy as the Olmo is cracked. It’s been well over a week now.

Can’t seem to meet up with him...anyone have any suggestions?

  • Didn’t you already know it was cracked? Or had you paid up before you read my post?

  • The crack which is visible on the images, pointed out by someone above and acknowledged by yourself?

  • He sent me further photos that had more details of the crack. He said it wasn’t cracked and that it was just a paint chip. I made it very clear I wasn’t going to buy it if it was cracked.

  • I was assured on PM that t wasn’t cracked.

  • He has agreed to give me a full refund, which is great! But it’s impossible to get hold of him to meet up again. He isn’t replying to my texts or phonecalls. Not sure what the next step is...

  • you might ask @Velocio what is the best course of action here

  • Do you not have his email address?

Did you pay by PayPal (and can you open a dispute there)?

And holy moly @Frankie.L that Fuji isn't a little "bend", it's a full-on head on collision with bent frame, and there's no way that fork is safe to be ridden.

  • Unfortunately I paid by cash in person. I was in a bit of a hurry and stupidly took his word for it on the crack. You can’t tell until I took it to my friends at Hackney Peddler and we removed the rear wheel (which was also bent among other faults). It’s a very unsafe bike and not in riding condition!

I did however pick it up from his work place so I know that much. And have his mobile number.

  • I don’t think ether bike is safe. That dropout was 100% cracked through, even just looking at that one photo.
But suss that the OP never responded to my initial pointing out of that.

  • I’d not have taken Nelson Mandela’s word that it’s not cracked after this picture

  • Surely that will wash out?

  • What is this wash you speak of?
