SoBWW -> 115 entrants, <50 finishers. Some xmas party hangovers going on or what?

They wild camped out overnight in bivvy bags, to finish off with a morning in snow conditions.
You must be glad the snow fell a day later? -

Thanks! Just need to adjust reach a bit and it'll be perfect :)

DNS means they didn't make the fine blue sky morning to start, not that they decided the services were too good to leave.

I also had a bit of Diverge envy. Lots of nice new bikes rolling around. Need to find malwinki a new bike still..

Anyone else thinking about doing the Kingston Wheelers SR series next year?
-
• #7287
I might do one or the other, probably not the whole series though.
By the way, anybody knows of fixed-friendly 400 and 600? I've enjoyed doing 200s and one relatively flat 300, and am thinking about turning that into a fixed SR. Please don't mention the Flatlands though...

So I got my Dean perm brevet cards through.
I assume it is the calendar route sheet I use and the infos are actual receipt controls on the perm?
Midwinter 300 anyone? Not this call sign - gonna save these for later on in the season. -

Up early for my first audax in almost two years. Back to the Winter Solstice 200 on the 10 year anniversary of the first year I rode it.

I've signed up for the KW 200,300 and 400 but as usual my work has double booked one of the dates already and my wife will doubtless be along to fetch the other two soon.

Looks like the first couple of days of this year's TCR.
-
• #7297
I went through Verona on the TCR last year. I deliberately navigated through the city centre to make a change from 100s of kms of largely dull road. It was pretty, but lots of cobbles and easy to get lost, so it wasn't the best decision.
Apparently entries are already full - within a few hours.

Really? For an audax? PBP pre?

London Wales London sold out in a few days this year, bcm didn't take long either.

Not this call sign - gonna save these for later on in the season.
I assumed this meant you wanted to ride something else than The Dean as a perm / diy in mid winter? But why not!
Good to see you again. I did quite like that Stayer of yours.
