I just don't bother with this bike in my size the wheel is 26", if i want a 26"rim brake frame i will be looking for old cheap mtb.
Yes it's a diferent geometry adjusted for front load than a cross-check or straggler, but not different enough to make me want to buy it. I will put a front rack in my actual bike and move on
Looking at the geometry chart, it’s very different To the cross-check/straggler, steeper head angle mean it’s the quickest handling road bike Surly made.
What bother me is that it’s not disc, which doesn’t make much sense given that’s there’s a lots of choice of MTB wheels for it.
Surly stick to their stupid geometry sizing as usual.
