Pretty sure this week I dreamt I had a bunch more done. Gotta wait for finances to stabilise back in the UK. This thread makes the want strong.

Who did you get to do it?
Also, nice commitment for a 1st tattoo.

Francisco.
First bit looks like this
Total piece is going to be an amalgam of various Kandinsky bits. This bit comes from this: http://www.wassily-kandinsky.org/images/gallery/Yellow-Red-Blue.jpg

That I do like. Like a lot. Bold move. I think you'll be admiring it every day forever.

Question for the hive.
I wanted a 360 degree design on my leg, that worked from my perspective when cycling (it's cycling related design, but with text) .
The artist says that's upside down. Now I'm conflicted. I never thought of anyone else. I don't intend on ever showing it really.
My other conflict is, if I did it the 'correct way' it would look wrong if anyone cycling along side me saw it.
Part of me things, okay maybe it should work for all. Part things, it's my body, I'll do what I want.
Thoughts?

Turn it into an ambigram so everyone is happy?
Your body, do it your way

If you want it "upsidedown" get it that way.
A tattooists opinion is worth considering as they are well experienced in the field, probably just making sure you are aware and won't go back bawling it's wrong in a few weeks. -

good suggestion, I emailed to ask if he can work the design so it works from all angles. Ie text in a circle around design.
@DethBeard he said straight up he won't do upsidedown. I said it's a matter of perspective as to what upside down is. I never even considered it being an issue, as it just made sense to me.

For people who don't know, the person behind Burzum, Varg Vikernes is a nazi and a murderer (amongst other sketchy things). There's obviously a conversation to be had about whether or not it's ok to appreciate things made by questionable people but it's worth knowing these things!

I got a copy of TTTISM issue two last weekend, quite enjoying the art and stories. Anyone know if there's an issue one copy still on sale anywhere?

I had this done about 3 years ago. It's an old French wallpaper design. I wanted something that would improve with age and fading. I'm really pleased with it. At least one thing about me looks better as I get older!

Paul had a lot himself, might be of interest. Nice guy.

Me too. I’ve usually dismissed all that black metal corpse paint stuff. Can't deal with the screaming. But the more ambient/instrumental stuff is awesome.
