I never miss it but I know when I'm ready to do it again if I've had a bit of time off. £180 a day is still a thing, it has increased a bit this year, probably in line with the devaluation of sterling. Once you get stuck on a rate it's difficult to shake it off.
Hope you are healing up, any ideas what else you'd do?

When I got my bathroom done I had folks trying to ask £600 a day. Needless to say I did not hire them.
Tap wise, I'm really into this company... https://www.lussostone.com/showers-c6/showers-c24/lusso-luxe-shower-set-with-thermostatic-valve-and-hand-held-shower-matte-black-p511
When I move to a "keeper" I'll prob buy all their stuff but for my current place I went with Crosswater as per @bq and they are oooohhhkkaayyyyy but my shower mixers dont feel very well made.
As you should!!
I worked in London at £180 per day - my rate couldn't/didn't increase for years -
Most of my jobs were price work though, I just got quicker (until I started getting slower).
I've been off the tools since May due to surgery and may not go back. Can't say I've missed it. 😂
