The East Europeans were coming here to pick fruit for low wages, and they aren't now. So the fruit is not being picked as the pay is not enough.
Exactly, as UK unemployment is low. I also read that in some places you get £10 an hour picking fruit...and people still don't want to do it.
Or they try, but are not fast enough, it is pretty hard work.
