Could you be more exact with the size please? Standover height would be great.

I really must stop looking at this.
Very likely to be built by Cliff Shrubb, as GBs were built by him back then, or so I've been told.

Keep looking.....and I still have most/all of the bits for building it back up, as was....

Simplex?

The gearing? No, early 70s Campag, which I would guess is a slightly later addition, as are the stem and bars. The Williams fluted chainset is from '67.

Could also built stan pike too
Vintage Geoffrey Butler frameset - frame, forks, headset, bottom bracket. Not exactly sure of the vintage - but I'd guess at 50s/60s? Is it an old path racer; are those Cliff Shrubb seat stays? The frame has Reynolds 531 (the one on the right fork is frayed) and British Cycling Federation stickers, which may help date it. Frame size is approx 58cm (seatpost centre bb to top). There are a couple of scratches here and there, but the frame is in fine condition. Photos are shown here:

One of the photos shows the frameset built up - with early 70s Campagnolo gears, 3ttt stem, Weinmann Type 500 brakes, Weinmann rims with a 4 speed freewheel. All of these components are available and I'm happy to discuss options for taking the bicycle complete, or partly built up. I'm looking for £215 for it. Collection in south-east London or your shipping ( a tenner or £15 if it's going overseas.
