Is provenance an issue with unknown internet sellers?
Something that was perhaps stolen at some point, then fenced overseas, innocent buyer tries to get AD service, serial numbers flag up nicked, you lose.
I don't know of this is real or just me making shit up.
Personally I agree and would rather save a hefty chunk of change, but then I'd probably go 2nd hand rather than grey markets.
