My GF is a midwife and travels around rural areas of Somerset for home births at all hours of the day/night 365 days a year, in all manner of weather. Light flooding and waterlogged lanes in winter is the main issue she has to deal with, although she did have some issues with ice and snow last winter.
Babies don’t wait to come out until it’s nice and sunny and the road to the farmhouse in the middle of nowhere is clear.
I ride my bike to work. I did drive the ASX to London once though, and it was actually a lot nicer to drive around the city than our old mini was.
But obviously we totally should have bought a 10 year old RS6 with 180k on the clock tho, cos that would have been like, way, more practical.
