I'm based in Paisley, but can would happily shoot over to Irvine on Sunday morning if you let them know I'm coming over. I'll send it back via the work's carrier on Monday, either TNT or DPD if you have a preference. You will have it back for Tuesday. Season of goodwill and all that.

Fantastic!
Hey Muddyfox, I think I left a packet of tattie scones at your local Asda, you wouldn't mind picking them up for me? Feel free to drop in a haggis and square sausage to that one too :)

Ha ha! Distance no object. Happy to help.
Earlier this summer I bailed on an attempt at the MR09 Audax. I'd left a drop bag at a hotel in Irvine, and am having an impossible time getting a courier firm to pick it up.
The courier firms sub-contract (or don't deviate from their established protocol) and no-one is able to call ahead to the hotel and check they're open to pick the bag up. The hotel is small and only staffed in the morning/evening; x5 attempted collections have been made and this inefficiency is driving me insane. I'm close to getting on a train, but thought I'd check;
Is anyone able to collect a small bag from central Irvine, secure it in a bin bag, stick on the postage (I'll email you), and drop into a My Hermes/Post Office drop point?...
I will be eternally grateful, send you something lovely, and make a charity donation of your choice.
