I read something about them years ago when they were 50 cents or something, and thought it would be a laugh to chuck 50 quid at them. Obviously didn't, and whether I'd have kept hold of them to this point I doubt...
I bet there's loads of stories floating around like these at the minute :)
I felt for this guy chucking £4m worth on his computer when the price was at £1000... now, he's over half a billion down...

Just saw a colleague had emailed me 8 years ago about bitcoin. If only we'd thrown some money at it back then :)
