I'm in the same position, and have received the same response, although thankfully I'm not in a hurry. It was their surly response, that is so blatantly a lie, that got me.
I'll definitely be writing a Google review because they don't have many online - this thread is full of too many "if only I saw this first" posts to let them get away with this crap much longer.
I agree there's a definite 'attitude' in their responses... Like I should be grateful that they've even chosen to accept my order or something, and as such should be happy to wait as long as they want me to.
