Bought some Sainsbury's ice-topped mince pies at lunchtime... bit weird as they don't have vegan on the label so I had to check about 5 sites to make sure they actually are

Had one in Forest Row last Wednesday.
Hit the spot really well. Was more than tempted to get one for later on.
I couldn't agree more on the price - I would expect double size. Having said that for the general population 30000000000kcal (or thereabouts) per serving is more than ample. -

Agreed on the cal front, although that's what we ride bikes for right... to eat double what others would ? ;)

Became a bit of a mince pie connoisseur over the weekend after finding some in Lidl and the parents buying me some from Asda.
Asda: Not bad at all, pastry is quite crumbly with a deepish flavoursome fill... 7/10
Lidl: Again, not bad at all, pastry is quite anemic compared to Asda, filling is tasty but not as nice as the Asda pies. One thing going for them is there's 12 in the box... 6/10
Sainsbury's Iced: Now, these are a different ball game altogether, the mix has got cranberry's in it and the icing makes a nice change, plus the ice has got gold fuckin glitter on it, I'd quite happily smash a box in one sitting... 9/10
One thing that was slightly annoying is the lack of information on the packaging... I had to look on various sites to see if they're vegan or not... Asda where the only ones clearly marked which is weird because I know Lidl and Sainsbury's are usually v good with things like this.
I'm gonna check out Morrisons/Waitrose next, no Greggs anywhere near me or the office so I won't be going there so fuck em

Trying to get it for my sister for a Christmas present, any other vegan Christmas present ideas?

Supposed to be in Wholefoods. Going to check Kensington shop / get some for Mrs c00ps shortly. Will feed back.
^^ +1 for Booja Booja chocs - their ice (non)cream is good too, but probably won't last long under the tree.

In a similar vein, I bought some "winter berries and prosecco" crisps from M&S on a whim just now and not only do they have gold stars on them they're actually fucking fizzy. Mind blown.
Ashamed to say I really liked them
