The XR31Ts end up being a lot spendier than the XR22Ts though. XR22Ts are 35 quid a go from Spa Cycles, XR31Ts are 55 quid a go from thecycleclinic or 60 quid a go from Superstar with limited drillings available. I like the XR31Ts - I've got two wheelsets using those rims - but equally the XR22Ts (or at least the disc wheel offset version, the XR22 RTS OCR) did a fine job on my touring bike this summer, and on @Cycliste's bike.

True, XR22T more what the OP's spec calls for. But note that @cycleclinic has the XR31T in most drillings, even an 18H which works very nicely with a Dura Ace front hub

Thanks, I will have a look at them as well. But yeah, as danstuff said, I would prefer to spend less if possible, as it's all going to add up once I've included racks/bags/dynamo lights etc. Not going to start buying things until the new year, so have a bit of time to think (/ start saving)
