Whiskey is owned by QBP right?
So technically they just asked their pals at the other side of the building to make it for them. -

Ah, makes sense

I regret not buying the steel rlt9 over the alu one. The bike still rips and is my favourite though so I dont mind!
Youll love it

Effectively the same company - all QBP-owned brands
Edit: Tldr, soz

Picking up my Arkose 4 (2017 model) tomorrow! It's a display/ex-demo/shop soiled bike so it's got a few minor scratches and for some reason an Aksium disc rear wheel rather than the Pinnacle standard rear wheel. Better wheel but I don't think it's tubeless ready.
@cake potentially has some tyres for me, but if not, what sort of width should I be going for and which mudguards?

Did you get it on the cycle 2 work scheme in the end?

I have been thinking about buying the alu rlt 9 since I really liked an alu cross bike I borrowed for a 130km gravel ride. And it looks the part!
But my welder isn't capable of welding aluminium and I'm planning on doing quite a bit of customisation. Also really prefer not to have integrated headset cups.

Yes! I managed to sort an arrangement and the bike was held for me. Very pleased about it as it was a £600 saving.

The bar tape can fuck off but otherwise very nice! what brand is it? I.D on the fork?

Doesnt the steel have intergrated headset too?
And yeah it looks badass all blacked out with 40c rubber
-
• #1893
No it has a so called "zero stack" headset. The bearing cups fall inside the headtube, but they aren't integrated (and they don't really have zero stack).
Black is very nice, also really like the green RLT 9 (alu).

Need some mudguards ASAP. Although it looks like that terrible rain might stay away before the end of the day.

Hmm it appears my bars are angled fairly downwards, will have to fix that.

Saddle nose up, bars angled down. Always cresting.

• #1897
awwww so tiny
-
• #1898
Yeah that needs to go a mite down again, when I picked the bike up the saddle was pointing at the floor pretty much
-
• #1899
calm down mate, you're like an inch taller than me

ikr! I think this is my size.
Cause All-City bought enough of them for their 2017 Mr. Pink to make it worth their while, I guess
