Can't find a touring/commuting wheel thread, so will post here - let me know if there's anywhere better.
I'm looking at making my old touring bike into a commuter/weekend tourer, and am trying to decide on wheels. I'm thinking Shimano 105 rear hub and SP Dynamo PV8, but am unsure about what rims to choose. The hipster in me says to get Archetypes, but these are nearly double the price of all the other rims on spacycles - are they worth it, or will they just make the bike more of a target for thieves? I'm looking for a wide rim to fit 32c gravelkings
