  • We do a lot of handwringing in the UK over our slow de-industrialisation.
    I think 1840 is the date typically used as the 'start' of the UK's Industrial Revolution,
    so we had a good hundred years,
    and,
    since, we've been losing out to other Nations.

    One of those Nations, always used as an example of how the UK has declined, is South Korea.
