  • Probably not as small as this!
‘Valeton’ OC-2 copy, which sounds pretty good but I might return as I scored a real OC-2 on eBay for near enough the same price.

  • Nice heads up. That guy makes some cool stuf.

  • This is the custom 3-in-1 Fuzz he made for me.

  • My Murderess next to Tony Thewlis's, I'm taking it down to the last show on their Australian tour after a repair at Tym's... Much fun will ensue, was great to hear this pedal in the hands of the guy who inspired it when The Scientists played in Brisbane a couple of weeks back... See you soon, Sydney!

  • Left hand side is a modified Ibanez Fuzz
Middle is a Dobsky which is his hot-rodded big Muff http://mooseelectronics.bigcartel.com/product/dobsky-fuzz
Right hand side is a tweaked one knob fuzz with a three way range switch.

  • I caved and got the JHS green russian. Man that thing is huge! Now eyeing black friday deals for bits to put a peadlboard together.

  • The new one? It does sound great in the demos i've seen. Not sure it's wise to put that much low end through a 1970 Champ tho...

  • Yep. If you crank it to the max with the feedback and the low end probably not but there is a sweet spot to my ears around which should be ok.

  • Revalved my Blackheart Little Giant combo with a pair of Bugera tubes and it's actually such a sweet little amp! Any suggestions for a 12" speaker with a nice vintage tweed voicing? Something warm and USA sounding...

  • Nice! I like the 12A125-A, might have to look in to one of those!

  • While we're on the subject, I've just ordered a Blues Junior - my first! - to replace my old Deluxe. I'm going to use my ears first but any recommendations on a nice deep speaker to put in there if the original isn't up to scratch? I've got a 12" blackstar I might try initially but I've heard good things about the cannabis rex too?

  • Pay day splurge for me. Bagged:

    • Boss TU3 tuner
    • EH Memory Boy Delay pedal
    • Pedaltrain Nano plus board
    • Patch Cables
    • Daisy chain with 5 9v heads

Did see a moog mother32 going aswell which looks like an epic bit of kit.

  • Anyone got a Les Paul?

I'm currently lusting after the 50's Tribute with P90s.

Also considering the PRS Soapbar because it's half the price...

  • I've got a few... Get a TV Junior, you'll probably only use the neck pickup anyway so why bother with two? Am I right, guyz n' gurlz?

Also males and females of all races will want to have sexytime with you, PURE FACT!

  • My ideal Les Paul would be a single pickup R4 with a Goldfinger (every nook and cranny) gold finish... Too, too sexy...

  • ^^^ Thats just porn!!

  • Had a Std les paul once. Was probably the best guitar ive owned. Cannot confirm the sexytime bit htough. That seemed to pass me by!

  • I had an '81 Standard Gold Top which served me well for a few years and I made a lot of noise on a few records with it... It sounded superb, I sold it in '94/95 to a sports journalist at The Sun who was buying it for his son for Christmas... Missed it terribly so I bought a '73 cherryburst Custom a couple of years back which has significant MOJO and I love like the son I never had... @rickster helped me buy a '58 d/c Junior many, many years ago and it is also superb... I bought the Tokai TV version in 2000 because I always wanted a TV, put a new P90 in it this year and it's finally the guitar I always knew it could be...

    GET A LES PAUL!!!

  • I've got a 2007 LP burst. Love it to death. Seems to have supercharged pickups in there - which was the most attractive about it. Plainest looking top of the 4 bursts I tried, but had twice the output of the others. No idea what pickups are under the covers.

  • OK, here's my Custom again... #rigsofdoom

  • I got an evil-looking black Les Paul BFG in 2008.
It's a fantastic guitar. It arrived, by post in tune.

Get one. Nobody grows up dreaming of owning a PRS.

  • That's a beautiful guitar.

My next build is a Les Paul. I've never been a huge fan but there's something about a goldtop; I've always wanted one (the epiphone 52 reissue i had didn't really scratch the itch... )

I'm trying to decide which is better for mine - going spendy on a quilted bit of timber for it or putting in the time to lacquer it to get something looking like that.
