Another nice and rare bike for sale. This time a Belgium build Verbinnen Sport mod. Competition. This bike has been produced and designed for a Belgium bike shop called Verbinnen Sport. It still exists and is located in Wilsele close to Brussels. These bikes were produced for the local team that were sponsored by this bike shop. This one was bike number 7, in total there were 20 bikes produced for this small local team.
Bike has been used and has some marks and touchups. It has been restored and is in a perfect condition now. Perfect bike for daily use in a fabulous colour scheme.
The frame itself is probably made out of Reynolds 531 tubing and has a lot of neat details, like the chromed lugs and the gold pinstriping. Pat nr of the rear mech is .72 which indicates that this bikes has been produced in the early 70's.
The bike is equipped with mainly Campagnolo parts, like the hubs, front & rear mech and the shifters. Brakes are form Dia Compe and the brake levers from Mavic. The crankset is from Stronglight and the saddle is a Turbo Special. The wheelset is built with Campagnolo Gran sport hubs laced to Mavic MA 2 rims. All the parts are still in a very good condition as you can clearly see in the pictures. Pedals are not included in the sale.
