Run tube between aerobars? It's what I do to get all my shit on the ultra bike.

Depending on width you can use these:
I bought one but my bars are too width for it.

Hah, got one of those already - currently have a Lezyne light on it. That bridge is quite slim though, so the Hope mount will needs loads of rubber to shim from 31.8 to 22.2mm, which is annoying to remove and fit every day when I lock up...
Thanks anyway - Might see if this works, strapped to the underside of the aerobars and removing the Hope mount.

Like I said, I just use 31.8mm tube, zip-tied to each extension.

Cycle Republic have the Strada 800 for £130 rn. Can top up with a piggyback battery if you want full power all night long

Nice. Missus has an ancient version of Strada. I'm tempted to sell my old Maxx-D and get a Strada too.
-

Am thinking about upgrading from my mk2 Strada at that price also...

I should test her Strada to see what it's like in place of my Maxx before I make that call. I've never actually used the Strada, which is odd given the amount of road riding I do :)

Lost my 150 Lumens L&M rear light. I really liked it but I won't pay full price to replace it after I got it cheap in the first place.
Should I just buy whichever is the brightest Moon?

Any recommendations for a rear light that can be neatly mounted on a mudguard (SKS Chromoplastic to be precise)? Something relatively small I guess. Is PDW Fenderbot the best option?

Thanks anyway - Might see if this works, strapped to the underside of the aerobars and removing the Hope mount.
Boom - rock solid.

This is a bargain, £110 for the strada 800 in cycle republic right now. Couldn’t resist, time to upgrade my 5 year old mk3...

Well that tipped it for me!

Are there any alternatives to this sort of mount for a cateye rear light? I find it really shit. Always moves around. Not the saddle mounted one, I've got another light attached there.

They do other mounts - I bought some spares when I was playing around with 24hr TT bike setup. You could do something like graft half the mount onto a seatpost bolt or modify one to fit onto saddle rails. Google image search for some ideas.

I can only seem to find the saddle mounted kind, which is no good for me!

Wrap a bit of handlebar tape around your seatpost, attach bracket and tighten, mine never moved.

Will give that a go, cheers!

I can't remember the model numbers.

I can't remember the model numbers of what I had. Probably variations of this...

My Smart rear light (R1?) has bitten the dust - what is everyone using these days? Moon? Prefer to clip onto back of jacket/bag

and felt like a decent upgrade.

cateye
You lost me at cateye. I hate their brand, dire quality last time I used it. Vowed never again.
Does anyone use a modified/alternate mount for a Hope Vision 1? I'm running out of room at the front of my bike and so need to figure out how to attach to aerobars (Yes, I have aerobars on my commute bike...)
It looks like the unit is attached to the clamp via an m3(?) hex bolt. Maybe I could fit it to the underside of a Garmin mount?
edit - This might work at a stretch
