You could bodge it and just turn down the valves on the hottest two or three radiators or something. It would probably result in an improvement and would only take 5 mins.

Also I'm guessing you've bled the radiators too.

do you mean the thermo valves or the lockshield?

bleeding radiators tonight/tmrw
then doing an attempt at balancing.
