I worked for the company that sold those plates in Docklands. I bought a Diana doll in the staff sale and used it to get the bar staff attention in the George, Hackney.

The Market Cafe in Walthamstow is like a shrine to Diana

They have two photos of her 'collection', and they're both of the same wall from slightly different angles with slightly different lighting. Woman's a fucking fraud. Which is fitting.

I stood Diana on the bar and she waved at them. Very effective.

I was once in Macey's looking at a handbag, the sales woman started talking to me about it asking if I knew the history of it.
Anyway this culminates in her bring out a kind of scrap book with a picture of Diana with the bag. Underneath in pen, Year 1999.... got very awkward when I questioned this.
