I’m not yet in my 40s, which I think means I’m not legally allowed to own an F Type.
As you say, R8 is just a fast TT really, ditto SL, just a Merc.
I fear a £50k 360 would be a shitter. I went to view a cheap 348 once. It was really horrid. Ferraris don’t seem to respond well to actually being used.

Evora is tempting, but might be a bit breaky.
I suspect that once you have got over the performance the R8 is just another dull Audi. Certainly to these eyes the looks got old fast.
F Type?
Merc SL?
Ferrari 360s are falling below the 50k mark if you want something older.
