Oh, of course it happens. I'd love to have seen the look on my face when the grey-haired (like more grey than me) old dude just rode past me up that hill in RP like I was going backwards while he was sat up like on a Dutch bike. Obviously I then crushed him but it was the first time I think I'd seen an electric bike that was fast. I've had a few fly past on fUxbridge only to be outmaneuvered and outsprinted later, because like I said, not happening.
