  • If it's SWR their new delay repay system is fairly decent.

  • So overtaking inthe zig zags and going to the right of a keep left arrow. That’s two tickets he dodged. You don’t get that without exposing the left nipple and doing a funny handshake AICMFP.

  • A good commute then.

11/10 would commute again, though maybe I'll undertake the flat bed next time.

  • Or wait for it to clear the obstruction and overtake safely when circumstances allow...

  • lfgss armchair CHiPS are out in force.

  • And let the nodders undertake and win? Never!

  • Loved that show "Book 'em Danno"...

  • "i really like it it when a plan goes well" - Matlock.

  • Have just seen a man on an ebike drafting a brompton. 2" of separation at about 10mph.

  • notsureifserious

  • Book 'em Danno

    Says everything about America that.

A murder doesn’t even warrant a sending off.

  • Until they reject your claim after 10 days but don't provide any details around which claim it was. Not helpful when you've made 5 claims in 2 weeks because their service is that bad.

Good news; 15 minute delay repay is inbound December = much cashback if current service continues.

  • Lovely moment... drafting through Didcot town centre this evening (so glamour!) spotted a pizza delivery lady heading rapidly towards the kerb from the shop, big stack of boxes, reading (probs checking) the order before jumping in the car. Shouted 'Pizza!', she glances up, spins 360 with the boxes balanced on one hand and stays on the path, we both laugh out loud as I pass and everything's good.

  • First day back on a bike after having a cortisone injection in my dodgy elbow last week, which ended up being stupidly painful for the next 4 days. Ok, it was just a trundle to local station to London Bridge and then LB to Hackney on the Brompton instead of the full 13 miles on my usual bike, but it felt good to be back on wheels again. Won't risk the arm for the full trip this week tho, just in case.

  • Just saw a guy on a ebike 29er type thing riding at Wiggins in TT mode speed. Nuts.

  • Ebikes are going to be the next brklss scandal. I can feel it in my bones. As usual the police don't seem to have the resources or inclination to enforce the current rules and get rid of the mental 30 mph ones.

  • hows it feeling now? were you laid up for the whole time?

  • Delimited e-bikes are going to be the next brklss scandal.

    Fixed.

Fortunately, there aren't too many of them yet, and those that are there only exist to motorpace hippy, before being cruelly dropped.

But joking aside, I expect that rather than cause a scandal (which probably would happen if there was a tragic death related to their use), there are probably already plenty of people lobbying for a lifting of the legal limitations on e-bikes, as they hope this would accelerate sales (which, unlike in Germany and the Netherlands, have never yet taken off here). After all, it is a motorised mode, quite fast, and 'sustainable', with an emerging industry attached to it. I expect that if all that happened, helmets would become compulsory for e-bikes, though.

  • Wish they'd also introduce car speed limiters. 15.5mph should be plenty.

  • back on a bike after having a cortisone injection

    Doping thread >>>

  • At least doing 30mph on an e-bike you're not in massive oxygen debt and might actually have some spare neurons to react to shit happening on the road. I mean motorbike riders manage (for a given value of manage, since they're eleventybillion times more likely to be KSI).

  • those that are there only exist to motorpace hippy, before being cruelly dropped

Ha! You've seen me hunt those fuckers down then? No one passes me on a cheat bike, no one!

  • They have. It's called London peak hour. @_@

  • Watched some helmlord on a brompton hammer up the left hand side of a left indicating car that had to brake to allow him past to carry straight on. 30 seconds later same bromptoneer then swung onto the pavement and ended up low speed bumping into a pedestrian, before cycling off without saying anything. Orange jacket and fluro helmet not enough to keep him safe from his own idiocy.

  • Not 'seen', no. This is an Internet forum. You've talked about it, ergo it happened/happens.
