Also what could they possible have against black skin suits?
On safety grounds? You don't get a lot of natural light in Scotland.

When you say "Olymipic distance" are you referring to Tri or is that what you all a 25mile TT up there?
'distance' is my mistake, should just be Olympic TT. I'm not 100% but I think there is also a 25 champs, probably run on less of a sporting/hilly course. Until this year all TTs up here were run under SC/BC rather than CTT, Ctt Scotland has only just been formed and the memorandum of understanding with SC dissolved.
Weirdly Scottish Cycling are now showing much more interest in TT and shouting about how much they do for the discipline even though the consensus among more seasoned testers than myself seems to be that all they really do/have done is collect fees.
Also what could they possible have against black skin suits?
A totally ridiculous rule, presumably under some sort of claim of H&S yet there are plenty of teams that have primarily black kits. Also they have no problems with TTs being run on courses with dead turns.
Apparently on guy rode with a pair of bibs on top of his skinsuit as he didn't know the regs and only found out on the start line.

Thought I'd throw up a head on shot from last w/end. I was going to raise the extensions a bit to reduce the pressure on my neck a bit for longer events but after reading this (thanks @umop3pisdn ) I think I'll try angling them up a bit first.

I think it was Scilly that posted that. I'm pro flat arms and long reach.

I thought that looked familiar!
If I remember correctly, I posted it with a question (rather than as a recommendation), but I'd be interested to know how you get on.

Sorry Scilly! I shall report back. Still a fair bit of work to do on my position, might even need to put a 130mm stem on as I occasionally hit my elbows with my knees when I didn't have my hands right out on the shifters (I've already got the extensions as far out in the clips as they'll go). Will wait until I've got a new saddle before I move too much around though an that will have to wait until I've got more in the piggy bank unfortunately.
Still on the hunt for a back wheel before I can ride this but the GF has just ordered a Boardman so I'll nick the basic wheel that comes on that when she puts her race wheels in.

So, the eagerly anticipated 2017 season update...
(if that image from Strava works)
Absolutely zero TTs raced and I didn't do any road races either, completely lost all urges to race at the moment, so this frameset is up for for sale as are pretty much all the parts so shout if there is anything you need.
