Yes. And that's why on this frame the chainstay has a pivot at both ends.

Mac Strut and Monoshock designs do away with one of the pivots; either the shock is rigidly connected to the frame (mono) or the link is rigidly connected to the shock (mac).

Dear mtbers of the forum.
What sub £20 plastic flat pedals do I want? Are they all much of a muchness or is there any which are a bit better sealed for the money?
Will be going on a low budget beater. Liz has had welgos but they feel cheap in the hand. That said they’ve lasted for years. Will be run with straps so proper side slots req.
Edit-sorry for asking on this thread but it seemed the obvious place and doesn’t require a new thread of dredging an old one.
