Depending on what seatpost you have you might be able to flip it - you can fit either Thompson posts or Bontrager ones (it's 25mm or something from memory, not 23).
Original forks are fine - we had also worn a groove into the chainstay so don't worry about that too. Headset can be replaced with the 1" Cane Creek external one if the current one is a bit dead.

I'm trying to work out the geometry, as my current bike has a 76 deg seat tube and I have the saddle slammed forward. From what I can find (forums etc) the Trek is more like 74 deg, but I can't find a geometry chart. @xavierdisley - any inside knowledge? Also, where do I get the £50 paint job from?
