@almac68 there are simple websites with built in tools to re-size things but they can lower quality quite dramatically depending on settings. The easiest GIFs to resize are ones where elements of the picture remain the same so there's less to change from frame to frame.
The attached is 2kb and is mainly reduced in file size by changing the frame size to 10% of the original. Might work as an avatar given size but prob worth tinkering with to get a middle ground that's visually acceptable and doesn't waste your daughter's handiwork.
