Been sat outside dharma since 6, now 9. Bored!

Super fun evening at dharma hanging out in the cold meeting cool people, completely different vibe to my previous tattoo experiences. Felt like a proper night out with epic music and all the artists properly knocking it out the park. 4hr wait, 25min sitting, totally worth it.
Got a spooky house done by Harriet Rose Heath. Pic tomorrow when it looks less gross. -

Nice. Better than a poorly shaded no 13 any day!

Everything on the sheet was waay bigger than I expected and they were doing full colour too if req. Properly good deal!

Looks a bit of a weird shape because of the angle and because of how quickly it started turning from a knee into a large lumpy potato. Just got this from a russian chap called Flurick who's doing a guest spot at Sacred Electric in Leeds. Really quite sore.

nice! is 'Angry Son' a reference to a song by the band Indian Summer?
-
• #11260
It is! Love that band and it reminds me of the friend that showed me them years ago.

Indian Summer and Flurick, great combo! Got two from him. Such a sweetheart

Wish I had a better Indian Summer tattoo to be honest. Got that one in a bit a rush when I was quite young without thinking about it too much. Flurick was great, although a combination of him not speaking much English and me always being very nervous/ quiet when getting tattooed didn't lend itself to much conversation.

thought i should share my most recent addition, a few months back, from Dagna Wrazen (in Warsaw at the time, but she's now moved to Scriptorium in Berlin). this was to cover up some text i got on my 18th birthday.
-

Can we get a before pic? What was the embarrassing text?
-
• #11265
i thought i had a more recent one, but apparently not, so apologies for the terrible quality/small image
the text said 'hvis lyset tar oss' - the name of this record
still love the record, but didn't want there to be any ambiguity regarding how i feel about the political beliefs of the man behind it (just in case - my views are diametrically opposed to his) -

There's definitely certain connotations behind a Burzum tattoo! The cover up looks great.

I had both knees blasted in one 6 hour sitting. Wanting the backs of my knees doing now. I better get thinking of some design ideas.... Gulp.

Has anyone here been to Duncan X ? I am thinking of getting something done, he seems like the best fit.
What's the stomach like to get something done? Should I try and tone it up first before a tattoo?
Was also thinking about the chest, but I have way too much hair.

Most of my stomach is completely covered, generally fine I'd say.
Never been tattoo'd by him but chatted quite a bit at Old Habits, seems like a nice guy.

I've not but my friend has a bunch done by him. Proper legend, very recognisable style. Apparently he's a bit heavy handed but you'll be fine.

This post sent me down a rabbit hole
I've got a little Friday 13th axe on my arm, got it by someone at The Circle, they booked slots at the beginning of the day so there wasn't a mad rush.
