can I buy a left brake lever that looks like the right shift lever?
No, the Campag brake levers are based on the 2nd gen. Ergo (round top).
Older Ergo can be gutted, but I've no idea if the 4th gen. can be opened-up and reassembled: I'd guess that Ultrashift can, but Powershift can't.
If you use Campag cranks you won't be able to tweak the chainline with a SRAM ring, so the drivetrain will wear at an accelerated rate and the lower gears will be somewhat less efficient.
I want to build something over the winter and I have wanted to build 1 X 11 for a very long time. I'm doing it on a budget and I'll be cobbling the parts together via here and eBay. So my question is what combination of Campagnolo parts would you recommend for the build and can I buy a left brake lever that looks like the right shift lever? And I'm using caliper brakes so buying SRAM apex isn't an option as I believe they're hydraulic only. Thanks oh wise mechanics.
