Well the chairman is John Hoskins, so you could rock up at Ealing Cycles. But he is an officious type so who knows what response you'd get.
The committee members and their contacts are on a website somewhere (EDIT here: https://www.londonwestdc.co.uk/officers ). Official contact would prob be via the secretary but I'm sure others would return an email. Rachel is on there, Nick English, Mick fountain prob still is.
I was on the committee for a year but gave up as there wasn't a load I could contribute and I missed half the meetings, through work or cycling -

Your district should already have them, or at least a pretty decent draft version. Try and contact them? I've got a list of the South (P) events
Yes, I could do that but I'm mainly interested in longer events nationwide, 12s and 100s (and I know the dates of the local ones).

You might get a bit close to the end of the battery life on 200k. Mine has lasted the Dynamo plus a couple of extra small rides in one go but it was close. Might be worth taking a battery pack if you one.

Was going to ride Meridian Hills again today - got as far as Feltham today before I turned about. Cycle insurance payment not gone through. Niggly toothache I've had all week still there. Pretty skint etc etc
(Deep down I just can't be bothered today)
Still plenty of time to get my 100 badge I tell myself....... -

I wouldnt worry too much, this time of year is tough I bailed on the Shark on Friday with knee pain at about 140k, felt like someone was stabbing me in the knee every time I turned the pedals. Going to rest it this week and see how it is on a flat 200 on Saturday, suspect I've just been overdoing it on the hills.

Thanks for the reminder.

You don't need teeth to pedal.

Stabby knee pain on the other hand, not a great one to continue grinding away on. Has something changed with your position?
I'm pain free in the hills at the moment but don't have much energy. I'd planned to do a short one Sat with 1AAA then a 200 yesterday but didn't feel up to it. Today, after doing feck all except ride to Ruislip Spesh shop with missus, I have maybe sinus issue/throat infection thing so maybe I was already coming down with something. Gonna Trainerroad tonight and see how everything feels.

20 people limit for prebooked accom but if you DIY the accom there's no limit.
I take this to mean I might be able to ride it but not make that decision until later in the year.

I'm probably gonna give it another go on Thursday I reckon.
Booked in with dentist on Friday morning so can just dose up the medicines if it's still hurting. -

Ruislip Spesh
Take your Gold Visa with you.
mespilus jr lost 1 cleat bolt earlier this year.
I suggested he popped in there, to ask for a replacement.
They offered him a set of S-Works carbon cleats for £60! -

Well, it's for the missus so it's Cycle Scheme and Spesh RRP

I look at the pictures and get jealous about the size of other people's cassettes. 😳

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm thinking about planning a ride from coast to coast and back again in a day. Is there an established route for this?
The map on here - http://www.c2c-guide.co.uk/ - suggests Whitehaven to Tynemouth. At 140 miles x 2, it might be a little ambitious - how hilly is the route? What sort of average speed is likely to be possible?
Any tips greatly appreciated. I'm planning to go and stay somewhere with family and do the ride in a day with my brother in law and stay in the area for a few days, so a decent start/finish place for families with kids is important.

Spesh RRP
I just heard the rip of the collar round the bottle of brandy,
and,
the creak of the humidor being opened.
What time will you be there? -

I saw one of those Eagle 42T cassettes in the flesh on one of the Spesh MTBs yesterday.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
If you put one on a Brompton you wouldn't need a wheel.
How do you actually contact a 'district'?
