So, this may take a bit of an explaination.
This is an animation I made (with help from Donut! himself) out of 54 hand printed intaglio etchings. In between each printing I scratched the old image out and burnished in a new one, I can make about 6 prints in a day.Enjoy my 20 seconds of joy that took 3 months to complete!

I made this a couple of years ago:

It lacks the artistic quality of Nhatt's work. In fact, it lacks any sort of quality. Also, I smashed my camera about a third of the way through filming, so the majority of it was done using a camera phone. Great fun nonetheless.

5 years barely counts as a dredge, right?
I’ve recently been getting in to animated my illustrations. Wondered if anyone was at a similar stage and had any tips to share etc.
Edit: video upload fail. Will make animated gif and try that.
Worst thread reanimation ever. -

A few free 'open project' shorts in that link. For anime I really, really liked Kimi no na wa. You can find it on http://masterani.me or kissanime

Cheers. They’re just a test really. I’ll eventually to re-do with more links in the tentacles and some more variation in the movement. A mate who’s a bit of a synth nerd wants to put some music and sound to some of my animations, so I want to do some longer ones for that. Quite excited about squelchy noises accompanying them!
I've found some really nice stuff recently, thought I'd share it with ya'll.
