  • It's this frame/forks - bought off the forum - but different groupset/wheels/finishing kit. Distinctive detail is the downtube bottle bolt is anodised red and stripped/stuck in the hole;

  • Hi all,

Unfortunately had my bike stolen on Friday (24/11/17) outside my work on Temple Avenue by Blackfriars (London).

Bike was brand new - 2018 Cannondale Synapse AL Disc 105 SE Road Bike - had two D-locks and a Kryptonite chain lock on it - unfortunately Police will only investigate if I can provide a 20-minute window for them to inspect nearby CCTV.

I adored this bike so if anyone sees anything please do get in touch.

    Thanks,

  • Sorry to hear about that. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

  • Nooo... Just seen this! I will definitely recognise it if spotted around!

  • thanks guys,

need all the help I can get!

  • I know man, it’s like losing a leg. Well, a very sunburnt leg but a leg nonetheless.

  • Courier bike stolen the other day,
White and Purple Condor track frame (2008 I believe), carbon forks.
Silver phil hubs I think on open pros

Was taken within 15 secs of being left, wasn't locked.
CCTV shows this, I'm an idiot and can't embed a video on here.
Stolen w1 so it could be anywhere now, but if you see it lock it.
It's quite a small frame and I've never seen another like it.

  • There's a set of silver Phil's on eBay, not sure if it's yours but have a look.

  • Cheers, forgot to mention it's not my bike, otherwise I'd have put the pictures up!

  • stopped a bike theft, of a kind, on tuesday evening, 7pm.

three kids of 16yrs old with a battery-powered angle grinder going, sparks flying, at a cheapish white road bike locked to the fence that separates victoria park from the canal and towpath. managed to stall them for a while whilst one toerag kept saying "i'll murk you" despite a 6ft spiked fence between us.

eventually they seemed concerned I was speaking with a canal boat owner and slid off into the shadows. if that's your bike please don't lock it there! sorry I couldn't get a picture or a closer look at the bike/perps.

    spot for ref:

  • If anyone’s had an Scott addict r2 go missing, let me know.

  • Just had my brand new Genesis bike stolen! It is a Large size Genesis Equilibrium 10 in red. The bike was fitted with a black Tortec rack and Nuke Electron pedals. Frame Number: WU7J00119
Please help and let me know if you see it for sale anywhere. Thank you! Patrick

  • Raleigh Kandara stolen last night in Nottingham, very unique and stands out, probably one of the last few of its kind in its condition - 30 years old without a scratch. Had some pricey white bike lights front and back too.
Crime number is 17000525028, don't know the frame number but as I said probably few of its kind nowadays.

  • My mate’s pretty unique bike was nicked from outside his coffee shop - Lanark on Hackney Road last night. If anyone sees it please let me know. Sentimental value, and quite a few new bits recently.

Specialized Hardrock, 1x setup with mudguards covered in stickers and a CND style front rack.

  • Fuck that thing looks fun to ride. Hopefully it returns to the rightful owner

  • The rear mech was stolen off my bike today.

Came out the transport museum, loaded the baby into his seat, then noticed the pedals were no longer connected to the back wheel.

    :-(

Cut an inner link and the cable so repair bill close to £100 plus a taxi fare.. On the plus side, 3 D-locks and a seat lock meant the rest of the bike remained where I'd left it.

  • Covent Garden?

A friend of mine once had his handlebars and all that was on them stolen there (not directly outside the Transport Museum, but close)--Ultegra brifters etc.--not the rest of the bike, for some reason. That was a long time ago, but somehow the surgery performed on your bike just reminded me of it.

Parts theft it awful, I've had it a few times.

  • A bike stand on Bow St.

It means it was someone who knew what he was doing.

  • Yes, sounds like it. It would be interesting to find out if there's a pattern in that area.

Bow Street is somewhere you'd expect to be covered by CCTV, too, not that any images would necessarily be usable or, indeed, actually looked at by real people.

Do by all means report it if you haven't already. I suspect that component theft has even higher levels of under-reporting than thefts of complete bikes, so maybe it's a deliberate method on the part of the thief to prevent action. Also, I remember once reporting a stolen front wheel to Stratford police station and the officer at the desk was really quite unwilling to take the report, which I found very odd.

  • This one caught my eye in my local 'buy sell swap Tottenham wood green forum'. Posting here in case anyone recognises. The guy posts a lot of bikes for sale but mostly BSOs. He's based in walthamstow.

Ridley Damocles in Lotto Davitamon colours. XL.

  • Hi everyone,

My Specialized Allez has been stolen from my garage in SE16. It’s got a full Shimano 105 groupset, Halo Mercury wheels, and a Fizik Arione saddle which are all non-standard, so there shouldn’t be any out there exactly the same. Give me a shout if you see it!

  • Ah man! I'm in SE16 so I will keep an eye out. Any idea how they got into your garage? Where was this? I had 2 stolen from inside my building by a gang with angle grinders, so there are definitely some organized gangs operating round here

  • Now recovered! Home and safe with his family.

Oh maaaaaaaan. My loyal sidekick of 5 years was stolen last night in Bethnal Green. He is normally in secure bike facilities but with all this Christmas nonsense I forgot to bring him in last night. He was Kryptonited to a post with a sign. They have taken the sign off and lifted him off. So furious with myself. Chromeo is a 1980s chromed Raleigh Bomber with downhill wheels and fat 26" tyres. He is unique so if it looks like him it probably is. £200 reward to the person that helps get him back to me.

  • From Hackney GT:
Our very good friends at Hub Velo cycles in lower Clapton were burgled on Friday evening. Thieves got away with 25 bikes including Bromptons, Orros and a custom Cinelli Purple Nimo Tig and a rare Stevens orange carbon Super Prestige CX Bike. Any sightings of these bikes or information please contact Mike or Gary at the shop or get back to us at Hackney GT. It would great to retrieve the bikes and catch the culprits so they can't do this again. if you can possibly share this story to social media that would be even better.
