Decided to get the fixed commuter track-ready and take it to Newport velodrome (been using the hire bikes so far).
What makes a good saddle for the track? It’s got a carved cambium on it at the moment. I do have a non-carved one I can swap it for though.
What makes a good saddle for the track?
One that can take twice your weight.
Despite the inevitable late-30s spread, I don’t weight a huge amount. The carved brooks is quite springy though - is a more solid saddle a better bet?
