I think I've forgotten how to use my camera :/
Encouraged by some of the photos that came back from exposed films I'd accumulated over a few years, I took my M3 out last week. Think I hadn't used it for a couple of years. 4 rolls sent away and the scans are mostly pretty shit. Smudgy, crappy colours, wonky framing. Going to pick up the negs today, suspect my exposure estimations were way off and mostly too overexposed (situations like coastal winter light confuse me), and I probably just needed to give the filter a wipe. Disappoint.
I've always wondered whether the rangefinder is off, and this time the photos seem really quite soft/ out of focus. I can check the rangefinder by measuring the distance to things, but how do I check the lens? Just by wasting a roll of film on it?
