I really like Squid's whole shit; the paintjobs and general rowdiness appeal to me but honestly I think they're shit bikes.

How so? They're pretty simple alu frame with a proven geometry. Sure the finish is a little industrial but that's just more of the point right?

also they're welded together by the same guy who brought these too the world

Any good deals on WTB horizons? I've found em for £35.99 in a couple of places and will be ordering today.....unless there is anything better out there?

Not uncommon on (pro) cx bikes, still not very attractive.

Are you thinking of Frank The Welder? Squid are welded by Ventana, Frank does Spooky among others.

I really like Squids and Spookys and a whole bunch of other modern small aluminium frame makers, I just wish they didn't cost so much/I had more money in the new bike fund.

I'm refering to the 'stance' specifically, I'm sure they are perfectly functional as bikes etc etc.

They just always look small and weird and misshapen.

Frames nice though. Hate Enve stems and the current trend of inline looking setback seatposts. Looks like the saddle is slammed back
