The lenses on the Mamiya rangefinders got better. I think it was the standard (75mm?) lens for the Mamiya 7ii that tested way beyond the others (and just about anything else). The Fujifilm GA645w pro W was another lens of crazy resolution.
I know lens tests don't matter at all ... but the number of really uncanny, detailed photographs, that just happen to be shot with that lens cannot be a coincidence.
You can still get them repaired
That's good to hear. If there was one camera worth repairing ...
The negatives are out and they are huge! I'm looking forward to scanning them tomorrow.
