  • Bought this trackframe at the Vintage bike fair Stalen Ros in Gent Belgium.
    Thinking its a artisenal Belgian made trackframe.
    Came home , uploaded the photos and went to sleep.
    Then when i woke up in the morning my inbox was full with people asking if i sell the green trackframe and what is the price.
    2 guys said man you found a Pogliaghi and after searching on the web i think i just got very lucky once again :)

    "Sante Pogliaghi was one of the acknowledged masters of post war Italian frame builders. He was sought after by top Olympic and Professionals alike. While his track bikes, both solo and track are most famous, he also made superb road bikes.
    Sante passed away in the year 2000.
    May he rest in peace.
    The rights to manufacture frames under his name had been acquired by Mario Rossin around 1982, then in the later 1980s, the Basso brothers.
    Bikes from the 1970s and earlier, made by Sante himself, are highly prized by knowledgeable collectors.

    J.Zagers is a Belgian bike shop based in Brasschaat close to Antwerp.
    They did not makes frames themself, so most probally this frame was used for the shop with sponsorshop reasons.
    Number 1 stamped on the rear left drop-out.
    Framenumber 7538 stamped on the leftside of the seatstaylug.
