• It does feel odd- clearly it's on me to hire a V90 T8 to see if I like it/it works for me, then apply to them for one.

  • I could understand if they were being rude to me, but by almost any metric you are the ideal customer.

Is it because you turned down their generous £500 offer?

  • I'd definitely drop a note to someone about this - someone like, say, the ceo.

I've had great and sustained success with companies customer service suddenly becoming incredible via this route.

Not saying you should buy one anyway, it'll probably give the dealership a good kick up the arse anyway.

  • I pretty much get this any time I buy anything of value. I think it's just the way I come across (I.e someone who asks too many technical questions that they are I'll equipped to deal with) and dress (I'm possibly thinking about buying a car, not joining the Dutch royal family (they have a royal family Yeah) for brunch.... So why would I be dressed up?).

Last new car I ordered (old work car, a3 1.4tfsi) ) was a via dealer job and honestly I put more effort into my customers selling them a £30 bike tyre, the whole process seemed to just be a drag to them.
