Sounds like a station beater it is. My dad last night said I can have his 18yr old hybrid - he thinks it's only been used 3 times, little does he know I abused that thing as a teenager learning how to bunny hop and the odd endo and wheels are buckled! Original tyres though...
Will see how I get on and may revisit the Brompton in the new year if I'm still pondering avoiding the tube. Looking at resale of Bromptons its certainly not a bad investment.
