  • So this is my only problem...
I have 1 mile from my house the the train. Then it's 2hrs into Waterloo. Quick hop on the underground and then out at Canary Wharf with an exit and escalator direct into my building. So I don't actually have to go outdoors in London!
Do I just make a conscious effort to cycle everywhere I can? So Waterloo to Canada Water? 3.3 miles, 20 mins or so and enjoy the health benefits!

@PhilDAS Tubes included with my train season ticket so no saving really.. I will only be cycling in the dry..

  • If you're going to cycle at the London end, get a Brompton. If you're not, get a station beater. As has already been said, taking a Brompton on the tube is a PITA for you and everyone else.

  • nope brompton's on tubes are excellent things, rush hour can be a PITA, but you know what, its the same as the rollie suitcase fuckers, if people can wedge around them, they can wedge around a brompton..
