It wasn't for me as it happens, the person I drove to Kent to collect it for, serviced it for and then generally tidied it up didn't like it, or rather they preferred something else at the end of the day. Good choice of user name by the way.

These are brilliant frames! I can't rate them enough - went on a tour over india with one, had eyelets for everything you'd ever need, and was apparently super comfy.
excellent bang for buck, and they always have excellent paint jobs!

Cheers @Skülly - those bars look hideous in photos but it's actually surprisingly comfortable and a blast to ride! If the bars are putting people off I'd be happy to swap for a quill stem with drop bars and some indexed downtube shifters for a more retro look/feel. Still looking for good home either way ;-)

Have another bump. I have a 753 Dean tour frame with Cinelli cast lugs and it's a cracking bit of workmanship.
I know someone who needs a tour frame but, alas this is a tad too big :o( -

Thanks @Kernowdreamer - Dean frames look a bit plain at first glance but as you say the workmanship is impressive. Lugs not 'fancy' but all finished admirably, smooth shorelines. And the ride quality is great.
SOLD - to a good home
Very nice (frame anyway!) Nigel Dean in 531ST (Super Tourist), 56cm c2t x 57cm c2c, frame in excellent condition, lovely workmanship, hand-filed lugs with super-smooth shorelines, loads of braze-ons for racks, mudguards etc.
Rest of bike is a mixed bag as you can see - Deore LX 3x7 drivetrain with trigger shifters, Dia Compe cantis, Mavic MA-40 rims on Campag hubs, screw on 7spd block. Recent chain, cables, pads etc. Decent Schwalbe tyres. Less said about the cockpit the better but it is surprisingly comfortable to ride as is (maybe not round the world). All in good working order, ready to ride away. Worth the asking price of £200 just for the F&F but it didn't cost me much so happy for it to go to good home.
I have plenty of alternate bars, stems and saddles if you want options.
Viewing/testing/collection London SE1, sorry but no posting.
