    I was on course for superstardom and in the July I competed in the Tour De France again. This time the race was over 92 miles and I started in 11,000th place out of 13,500 competitors. The further back you start the faster you are in an attempt to ensure the field finishes at the same time

    I don't think he knows how this 'Tour de France' thing works.

    Just checked-finishing time of about 10 hours, and claims he finished 15th overall in the GFNY but even feature on the finishing list. He's also finished dead last or second last for his supposed 'team GB' appearances on the flying 500m.

    A true athlete worthy of sponsorship by Pinarello, Citroen, Corima, and his personal sponsors, and all the newspaper articles...

    Or is pointing this out bullying? I'm confused. Can see why Sigma don't want anything to do with him

  • I do love this quote. The levels of self-delusion (or outright lying) are simply staggering.

    Mind you, it does show up my poor performance in the 'Tour de France' - I had to start with the slow folk at the front.
