could you post a pic of the arrangement at the top of the fork, please?
the shop which fitted my GB thought it would be a good idea to punch a hole in the mudguard and secure with a bolt which locates into a nut somehow held in place by another bolt thought the brake drilling in the fork crown.
it actually isn't a good idea. it rattles around like fuck.
This afternoon’s job. Rear needs my new drill which is coming on Sunday (old one released the smoke) and a bit of thin, flat metal of some sort to make an angle bracket.
