  • If you're set on a handheld Raspberry Pi powered console, check out the PiGRRL. It is a fair bit more bulky (due to not removing the USB/Ethernet ports on the pi) and the cases tend to be quite low quality for the most part.

However, it does have L/R shoulder buttons. A big omission from the GameShell.

Hopefully it really takes off and there's a market for upgrades for the modules over time.

  • The lack of L/R buttons is a bit annoying but it's easy enough to reprogram the start and select buttons in retroarch.

  • after messing with a couple of rPi projects this last month I am very tempted to get a picade when they come back in stock

  • There's a lot of cool cabs out there, when I was looking I couldn't find anything that had exactly what I wanted (trackball and pinball buttons) so I looked into building my own. I built mine about 18 months ago, I didn't really have the space or proper tools for the job so it's a bit rough around the edges but I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Need to sort out a marquee thought.

  • He's trying far toooo hard.

  • He's funny but that bloody new subscriber sound is agony after a minute or two

  • Goodbye all. I’m off.

PS VR headset, camera and Skyrim VR bundle at game for 250 or 300 with the sex toy wands.

Trigger pulled. Next I need an IV line in for food and fluids with a catheter and colostomy bag for the line out.

  • Just got an Xbox as I've been missing games. Mad bargains to be had. If you're a Barclays account holder you also get 10% cashback.

  • Anyone want an Xbox One S?

Boxed with all original accessories including a controller.

    £110

  • Wait Skyrim VR is out?!? Shit

  • Wait Skyrim VR is out?!? Shit

It's a little shit. The models aren't the quality of the scenery. Blocky according to a review

  • Has anyone used any Xbox repairists? Mine won't turn on. Is it worthwhile or should I just buy @Soul's? Just don't want to to start Witcher 3 from the start again. I had a fucking killer Gwent deck.

  • Games are saved to the cloud ennit?

  • I have no idea...

  • @snottyotter is right.

As long as you have xbox live, all saved games you have are in the cloud. A new xbox will pull those saves down when you sign in.

  • I'm not sure if I have Xbox live. I am very confused about anything which doesn't involve just putting a disc in a machine.

  • I just had a quick google - you don't actually need Xbox Live to have cloud saves:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/cloud-game-saves-faq

Should mean that signing into a new xbox automatically brings across your old saves.

  • hang onto the old one as you might be able to copy the drive if not even if it won't switch on (assuming it's not the drive which is dead).

  • Does anyone know of a Zombie/survival MMO that I could run on a stock macbook air from 2014?

    base spec model I guess.

edit: oh if its free then even better!

  • I've just spent a tenner on a spare power brick - might as well make sure that isn't the problem before spending more...

  • PSN has a "black Friday" sale on for plussers at the moment (muggles get it on Friday)
Some moderately good deals (GT sport for £25) nothing that won't be back to that price come Christmas sale/ retail in the new year, but I am getting into this digital malarky (no need to change discs FTW)

  • Grab an eGPU and Bootcamp and pic any ya want?

  • Anyone bought battlefront 2 yet? Is it worth the purchase.

  • Quite a few complaints about in game purchases and how these are needed to unlock the popular characters from the movies. Not tried the gameplay as I’ve had enough of EA in game bullshit on mobile platforms so hearing they had incorporated this into a premium title is keeping me away.

  • I get where they are coming from, the characters could be more convincing but the scenery is amazing. Full 360 and yes I have put my office chair in the middle of the living room and spun it around until the cable near throttles me.

Game play is a bit jerky, you can’t just look at where you want to run you actually need to use the controller to set the characters forward view so you could have the character facing one way, running another while you are looking another. You get used to it but in a first person shooter should run forwards or strafe.

The scenery though, I think I’ll spend days hiking just to enjoy the view.
