If I swap forks from orange rx9 (near as damn it 0mm rake) to surly straggler (44mm rake) and otherwise similar dimensions, length etc will I explode into flames at the first corner?
It currently rides ok, fairly relaxed, road bike ish feel, but no rack mounts -

Have you actually measured the rake on the Orange fork? Doubt it has near zero rake, unless you crashed it earlier π

I tried, so I Could be misunderstanding it- it's a dead straight fork so the axle is in line with the leg of the fork/ the headtube

That's the RX9 geo, rake is not listed in their chart but I doubt it's zero. -

Thanks I hadn't thought of finding a geo chart! Much easier than trying To measure a bike with guards and stuff in the way!

I can understand, it's a beautiful bike. The carbon fenders are a bit much for me though..
Spa TD-2 is the cheapest route, Β£60 plus Shimano UN55
