GT3 bodykit on a Cab? Roflchops. No.
-
• #38331
Top one because the steering wheel is on The Queen’s Side. The bottom one is foreign looking.

Though I feel like we need more context to give the right answer.

Chap posted his standard/non-aero car that had skirts from the factory, I thought it looked quite good, other chap weighed in with the observation that you need the aero bumper to balance the skirts or it looks odd around the front wheel.
For e.g. the RPM CSR has skirts and bumper:
(Ignore the ducktail).

I personally prefer the “naked” 996 look, but hey- I may be wrong.

I’m with @danstuff
Possibly worth a discussion on a coupe, not on a cab.

My mate had a Fisher Fury built from a Mk11 Escort, had a full race 1750cc Kent engine on Twin 40's 50/50 weight distribution, still reckons it is one of the best handling cars he ever raced, at Spa he had faster cars pass him down the straight but he got back pass them again on the twisty bits :)

• #38338
Yeah. They’re light. I’m expecting 420-450kg.
Spa is not a great circuit for a car that tops out at 125mph.

• #38339
Should be doable. My racer is 430kg and that's with extra chassis tubes I added, double ali skins all round and a full cage and plumbed-in extinguisher. Race weight bodywork though. How much did your last one weigh?
-
• #38340
428 but with a full screen, washers, wipers, blower etc. It too had the Light Spyder bodywork tho.

I found the 850/x70 handbrake if setup properly to be a solid hold on any hill.
However, most garages don't set them up right as they just use the little slack nut thing in the centre console and not adjusting both drums with the back end up. And most defo do not take it round block to settle everything then adjust a second time. It's this bit that makes them solid.
The design really isn't the best, the distance that the pads travel uo against the inner disc/drum surface is very small, so little that I don't think a lot of "oe" aftermarket disc manufacturers make that inner surface all that "round"
So you'll find one wheel will hold ok for about 120 degree of rotation, and the other a different 120 degree, rarely do they overlap when you need them too lol.
Have used ate discs direct from them via an Amazon profile and handbrake in mine is an utter bosse. Two clicks from the bottom is solid enough unless you want to jump up and down on the boot whilst parked on a 1;3 in which case, maybe 3 clicksAlso if new discs are E coated, need to rub that shit off the inner drum surface, let some surface corrosion build up, then it'll be nice and grabby

Really into the new AM Vantage, bold move but that looks like a desirable lump of metal. Still totally bemused by their range, can never work out where their various models fit into their hierarchy

Filtering through traffic light controlled traffic last week,
I spotted a(nother) ungainly suv.
Didn't quite catch the name on the boot,
but suspected Kia had revamped one of their instantly forgettable models.
Just about caught up with it, before the lights changed, and off it went,
but, got close enough to find myself perplexed by the triple side vents.Sure enough, it was;
