My mate had a Fisher Fury built from a Mk11 Escort, had a full race 1750cc Kent engine on Twin 40's 50/50 weight distribution, still reckons it is one of the best handling cars he ever raced, at Spa he had faster cars pass him down the straight but he got back pass them again on the twisty bits :)

Should be doable. My racer is 430kg and that's with extra chassis tubes I added, double ali skins all round and a full cage and plumbed-in extinguisher. Race weight bodywork though. How much did your last one weigh?

Hactually the short 80s rally cars are tres excite around spa compared to LMP1 which handle like scaletrix processions. Le Mans might be better in a C9.
